Deactivate Account

You can request that your The Light School account be deactivated and your personal data deleted at any time.

How to deactivate from the app

Open the The Light School mobile app and sign in.
Go to Profile → Settings.
Tap Deactivate Account and confirm.

How to deactivate by email

If you can't sign in, send an email to info@lightschool.iq from the address attached to your account, with the subject “Account deactivation request”. We'll verify your identity and process the request.

What happens to your data

Your sign-in is disabled immediately.
Personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where law requires us to retain a record (for example, audited financial data).
Academic records are anonymised before being archived inside the school's account, so the school's reporting stays intact without identifying you.

Changed your mind?

During the 30-day grace period you can email info@lightschool.iq and we'll restore the account. After the grace period the deletion is permanent.
